The US Agribusiness Trade Mission to Ukraine

Organization of Trade missions around the world is an important part of the USDA's Foreign Agricultural Service activities.
In 2016, BRIDGES became a partner of FAS/USDA in organization of the US Agribusiness Trade Mission to Ukraine. The event was attended by more than 100 participants that included representatives of Ukrainian and the US business and government.
During the first two days 87 business meetings took place between US and Ukrainian counterparts. American businesses were mostly represented by manufacturers of machinery, equipment and agricultural products.
Ukrainian counterparts represented supermarkets, wholesale markets, traders, dealerships and other potential buyers of the US products.
The US delegation had an opportunity to visit a wholesale market and evaluate quality and various characteristics of various products available at the Ukrainian market.
